Cormorant

The Cormorant nests in colonies, sometimes in association with other Cormorants and Gulls near either fresh or salt water.  The nests are placed on bare rock or soil on rocks, islets, cliff ledges and tops or in trees near water.  The nest is moderately bulky and is composed usually of sticks, weed stalks, seaweed and other available materials.
